Standard Dueling Rings

 

Rules of BeruToku (Full Contact Dueling):

Weapons:

Any amount of sabers with any amount of blades.
Saber blade(s) must be able to illuminate.
Blade tip must be between 28 and 32 inches from the tip of emitter.
Blade must have tip.

Safety Equipment:

Full head helmet with face protection required.
Point vest (front, back, and shoulders) required.
Hand protection required.

Combat:

Adversaries must begin in designated zones on opposite sides of the ring.
Previous victor or current 1st place holder is designated Adversary Omega.
Each duel consists of 5-10 matches.
A match is won by making contact with the opponents vest using the blade of your saber.
When a point is won, the match is over and the adversaries reset.
The first to 5 points wins the duel.
If an adversary's blade breaks, they have forfeited and the opponent has won the duel.
If one steps out of the ring, the point is awarded to the opponent.
If one wraps his hand around the opponent's blade, the point goes to the assaulted.
If one physically engages the opponent with anything other than his saber blade, the opponent is awarded the point.

Point vest (front, back, and shoulders) required.

Combat:

Adversaries must begin in designated zones on opposite sides of the ring.

If one attacks with malicious intent or full force, the point goes to opponent. (Risk of Injury)
If one steps out of the ring, the point is awarded to the opponent.
